"Three Times" (no details about this film are described here) 最好的時光
Cannes Video FeedThanks so much for your great offering. After seeing the "Three Times" that night, it brightened my night (and the following day), no kidding.
I never buy into the idea of viewing the premiere of the film festival if the commercial run is just around the corner, now I have changed my mind.
First, 中山堂's screen is big and the stereo amazing. And viewing with ardent audiences adds more fun. The atmosphere is engaging and enthusiastic. Everyone stays put till the final credit. (沒有人中途離場,且坐到最後一分鐘.)
Usually in the commercial run, the audience may be scarce and their patiences run short.
the first part of this trilogy, Hou Hsiao-hsien finally displays his sweetest and most accesible story ever... (right next to "Dust in the wind" 戀戀風塵)
getting a glimpse of 廖慶松 and 杜篤之 is also great!
Today's UDN said Jia Zhangke was there. (i think he is the best director now in China)

The Immoral Media
Does it make any sense that the TV media (and the print, take that!) can castigate the shameful "made-up" so-called "腳尾飯" (the food for the funeral purpose into the eatery, but I've heard that phrase腳尾飯 for the first time) without any reflection?
We witness the media broadcast the "made-up" videotape (so-called hidden camera tape as evidence) and simulating video (close-up shot of the garbage can, superimpose the pig's leg....) eating while reading this blog at your own risk!
At least, on the bright side, after a few days, the self-correction process in the media is on the way. It quickly pointed out the bizarre and inconsistent accusation and made the fact clear.
Lesson: 作為社會公器, 照本宣科已是罪過罪過, 還加油添醋, 加拍"如果真的腳尾飯被做成便當..", 該說什麼呢。
